Pistachios kernels are typically harvested prior to being fully ripe. This procedure is done to ensure the highest level of quality and natural color preservation of the kernels. This type of nuts is generally highly valued and traded at a premium due to its unique characteristic and high demand.

Pistachios will stay fresh (shelled or in shell) for up to a year in a refrigerator or for up to 3 years in the freezer.

It is recommended to store the product in air tight containers and stored in fridge and/or freezer to maintain freshness and texture of the product.

It makes an excellent choice for addition to smoothies and oatmeal’s.

It can be grounded into sauce or made into butter.
